Review: Zagg InvisibleSHIELD for iPhone

The first iPhone I used was the iPhone 3g. The phone was he most amazing device that I had ever used, and I knew that I needed to do whatever I could to keep it protected. I bought thebecause I had read so many reviews saying that it was the best protection on the market. The reviews were right. I loved it. It is crystal clear, so i never even saw that it was there, and there is no way that you’re going to scratch it…watch the promo videos if you think otherwise.

My mistake, though, was that I only got the front screen protection instead of the full body protection. My thought process was that I would use a protective cover on the back, so what was the point of having a shield on the back? I figured that would have been overkill, so I tried to save a few bucks and pass on theon the back. I was wrong.

At some point during my 2 years of using my 3g, I got some dirt particles inside the protective cover. Over time, they rubbed a few long scratches along the whole backside of my phone. The iPhone 4 came out, and, of course, I had to get it. But when I took off the cover to inspect my 3g to see how it held up, I was very disappointed to see the scratches. The scratches didn’t exactly help the eBay sales price, either.

I didn’t make the same mistake with thefor my iPhone 4, though, and it, as always, is holding up beautifully.

I recently bought thefor the iPad as well…but I’ll save that for another post.

UPDATE: invisibleSHIELD for iPad review is here.
